Perhaps one of the most blatant signs of the times at the 1939 World's Fair was the inclusion of the American Tobacco exhibit in the Food Zone.  Inside, visitors could purchase and mail souvenir cigarettes to family and friends after watching machines roll and package Lucky Strike brand products.

This book, The Story of Lucky Strike by Roy C. Flannagan, presents a history of the company, and was a popular souvenir among visitors to the exhibit.
