Joseph Stalin

Joseph Stalin (1878-1953) was the Communist dictator of the Russian Soviet Union from 1929 to 1953. He created a totalitarian political system, and an industrialized country and military superpower from a largely agrarian and vulnerable state. He also produced the world’s largest system of concentration camps, whose victims numbered in the millions.

Benito Mussolini
Italian Politics
Benito Mussolini (1883-1945), the fascist dictator of Italy from 1922 to 1943. He was titled 'Il Duce,' which means 'The Leader' in Italian. He led the National Fascist Party and later joined Germany and Japan to form the Axis Powers during the war.
