Receipt for payment of $45.24 made by John B. Garner to Henderson & Snedeker for the purchase of guano. Note: Garner resided in Jerusalem (present-day Wantagh), N.Y. He was a son of John Garner (?-1833) and Sarah Birdsall (1790-1836). He was a farmer and also appeared to have continued operating John C. Birdsall’s general store after Birdsall’s death.
