Description
Business letter from John Garner to John C. Birdsall, in which Garner writes about Parmenus Jackson's unwillingness to part with a particular lot unless Birdsall holds him to an agreement that they had made. Garner also mentions that lambs are selling well, and he suggests that Birdsall should bring some to New York and attempt to sell them. Note: John C. Birdsall operated a general store in Jerusalem (present-day Wantagh), N.Y., and had several different business partners, Garner eventually being one of them.
