Articles of agreement between John C. Birdsall, on the one part, and John Garner and Willets Seaman, on the other part. The terms of the agreement lay out the conditions for Birdsall's rental of his general store, which was located in Jerusalem (present-day Wantagh), to Garner and Willets. All three parties lived in Jerusalem.

Articles of agreement regarding grist mill in which Joseph Birdsall and Samuel Smith were partners. The agreement stated, "we the Said Samuel Smith and Joseph Birdsall do of our own Wills and accords Nominate and appoint Samuel Birdsall of the aforesaid place to fully Settle and Deturmin all matters of What kind or Nature So ever that Shall be put before him In Regard to said parties or their accompts and his Judgement hereto Signed Shall finally Settle all their accompts Between them." Note: The grist mill was at Birdsalls Swamp in Jerusalem (present-day Wantagh), Town of South Hempstead (present-day Town of Hempstead) N.Y.

Articles of agreement (contract) between Joseph Birdsall and Joseph Burr, both of the Town of Hempstead. Under the terms of the agreement, Burr agreed to provide wholesale goods to Birdsall who would then sell the goods at retail. Note: Birdsall owned a general store in Jerusalem (present-day Wantagh), N.Y. He was also a surveyor, a partner in a grist mill, a teacher in the Jerusalem school, and a lieutenant in the loyalist militia.
