    <dcterms:description><![CDATA[Letter from Jos. A. Lapp, Dealer in Beef, Veal, Mutton, Lamb, Pork, etc., at the Washington Market in Jamaica, N.Y., to John B. Garner. The letter, which is on a Jos. A. Lapp bill, mentions an enclosed payment check and also includes an order for shipments of milk. Note: Garner resided in Jerusalem (present-day Wantagh), N.Y. He was a son of John Garner (?-1833) and Sarah Birdsall (1790-1836). He was a farmer and also appeared to have continued operating John C. Birdsall’s general store after Birdsall’s death.]]></dcterms:description>
