Garner also mentions that lambs are selling well, and he suggests that Birdsall should bring some to New York and attempt to sell them. Note: John C. Birdsall operated a general store in Jerusalem (present-day Wantagh), N.Y., and had several different business partners, Garner eventually being one of them.<br />
