Note: In June, 1939, Addie Kahn, wife of Otto Kahn, sold her &quot;Cold Spring Harbor&quot; mansion (today known as OHEKA Castle) to the Welfare Fund of the New York City Department of Sanitation, who renamed it &quot;Sanita.&quot; For a brief period in the summer of 1939, it was used as a recreation and rest center for New York City sanitation workers and their families. However, based on claims of a zoning code violation, the Town of Huntington later won a legal battle that led to the closing of Sanita. (B&amp;W)]]></dcterms:description>
