Many different postcard printers, including German printers, who dominated the postcard printing market up until the outbreak of World War I, are represented in the collection. All postcards in the collection were published in either sepia tone, color or black and white (B&W). Note: The collection includes more than five hundred business and industry related postcards, over one hundred of which were processed and digitized with funding from a grant from the Robert D.L. Gardiner Foundation.
