Description
Account book for Birdsall & Jackson, a general store, for the years 1809-1816. The majority of the entries concerning monies owed to various workers for jobs such as mowing, cutting corn, harvesting, working in the swamp, and "common work." Note: John C. Birdsall and Micah Jackson operated the store together in Jerusalem (present-day Wantagh).
