Joseph Birdsall account statement with Seaman & Lawrence & Co. for the period May 1774 through July 1774. The balance owing was 145 pounds and 7 pence. Note: Birdsall owned a general store in Jerusalem (present-day Wantagh), N.Y. He was also a surveyor, a partner in a grist mill, a teacher in the Jerusalem school, and a lieutenant in the loyalist militia.
