Description
Joseph Birdsall account statement on note to Henry Haydock for the period from May 4, 1785, through November 12, 1795. The balance owing was 17 pounds, 11 shillings, and 7 pence. Note: Birdsall owned a general store in Jerusalem (present-day Wantagh), N.Y. He was also a surveyor, a partner in a grist mill, a teacher in the Jerusalem school, and a lieutenant in the loyalist militia.
