Letter from the Port Jefferson Milling Co. to John B. Garner concerning the purchase and shipping of wheat. The letter was addressed to Garner at Ridgewood (formerly Jerusalem and now named Wantagh), L.I. Note: Garner was a son of John Garner (?-1833) and Sarah Birdsall (1790-1836). He was a farmer and also appeared to have continued operating John C. Birdsall’s general store after Birdsall’s death.
