John B. Garner and William Place $500.00 bond to the Flushing, North Shore, and Central Railroad Company, at Island Trees (present-day Levittown), N.Y. Note: Garner resided in Jerusalem, N.Y. (present-day Wantagh). He was a son of John Garner (?-1833) and Sarah Birdsall (1790-1836). He was a farmer and also appeared to have continued operating John C. Birdsall’s general store after Birdsall’s death.
