Description

Letter that John B. Garner received from the Long Island Co-operative Creamery Co., concerning their establishment of a creamery at Hicksville, N.Y. Note: Garner resided in Jerusalem, N.Y. (present-day Wantagh). He was a son of John Garner (?-1833) and Sarah Birdsall (1790-1836). He was a farmer and also appeared to have continued operating John C. Birdsall’s general store after Birdsall’s death.
