The Food Zone of the 1939 World's Fair was home to the Borden Corporation's "Dairy World of Tomorrow," in which visitors could watch a live demonstration of how to properly milk cows and process milk safely. As a souvenir, Borden's produced this 32-page cookbook with recipes for everything from appetizers to soups, all using Borden's dairy products. Borden Corporation would later use "Elsie the Cow" as their mascot, and she would return for another New York World's Fair appearance in 1964.
