A preview of the sights and sounds of the 1939 World's Fair was made possible with this Greyhound Sightseeing Tour ticket. Included in this once-in-a-lifetime event was original commentary by the famous trained World's Fair Girl Guides.

Due to the fairground’s proximity to residential neighborhoods and the bustling metropolis of Manhattan, school field trips became a frequent occurrence at the 1939/40 New York World's Fair. This ticket was for the 1940 season, and came from a student of Richmond Hill High School, which was only a 5 mile trip from the fairgrounds.
